    Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.Every person can learn to dance contemporary, but a slow and adequate educational process of coordination, body, and skills is necessary. Some of the world-famous dance forms that originated and evolved in India are Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Mohiniattam, and Odissi. These dances are particularly complex and require a lot of dedication. But once the art is learnt, it paves way to learn other dance forms as this is the most fundamental of them.
