These are the words most people say when they join a gym to lose weight. Even Aamir Khan had said in an interview, that when he started losing weight to shoot for young Mahaveer Singh Phogat for the movie Dangal, he thought he could not get back in shape, it’s just too hard. While Aamir had to get back in shape to complete the movie and was being motivated by his team every single day, that kind of motivation is missing in a common man’s life.
Going to the gym, despite having a lot of benefits, is not for everybody. Some people might not spare enough time or some people lack enough motivation and find it boring. But that doesn’t mean you cannot stay fit and happy. 4. Power Walk/Jogging
While it does not seem like an interesting thing to do, trust me, when you put those headphones on and head out, it will be the most satisfying part of your day. I personally love to jog and sometimes I don’t even realize that I’m 5-7 km away from my home, I don’t jog regularly though because I do other workouts too. The point is, this is the part where no one’s watching you and you get to set your own rules. If you think you should run half of the time and walk the rest, you get to do that. If you think you can slowly improve your running distance, you get to do that, with no competition and embarrassment. It’s just you and your playlist, and with time, you’ll see the difference in your body.
With time, don’t forget to challenge yourself, increase your speed, do some sprints, increase your distance, etc. And, your music should be fast and it should give you goosebumps. “Get up and conquer” kind of feeling is required from your music.
Every person has different requirements related to fitness, and for every person, there is a workout that matches his requirements. If you worry a lot about your gaining weight and cannot do a serious gym workout, then these workouts are for you. You can definitely lose weight while having fun.
